Miss Catherine (Sister) Hollins was born March 18, 1929, to the late Dorris and Katherine Hollins of Birmingham, Alabama.

Catherine was educated in the Birmingham, Alabama, school system where she attended A.H. Parker School and Booker T. Washington Business School.

Catherine worked for Temple Pharmacy and the Alabama Power Company where she ultimately retired.

Mrs. Josephine J. Robinson was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Evans (Jannie) Jones on May 19, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama. Her mother died two days after her baby sister, Bettie, was born, and Josephine was only nine years old. The girls were lovingly raised by their aunt and maternal grandmother.
