Ivan Jarvez Boykin was born on April 27 th , 2003, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Ivan was the product of the Jefferson County School System and graduated from Shades Valley
High School in 2021. While at Shades Valley, Ivan was a member of the wrestling team and
vocational welding academy in which he received a certificate in welding.
Outside of school, Ivan loved the Lord. He studied his Bible because he wanted a closer
relationship with God. He played summer seven's rugby with the Birmingham Vulcans U19
Rugby Team. He also enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with his
friends and finding ways to earn money. Ivan recently took up other hobbies such as kickboxing and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.

Ivan leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Fawn and Marco Callaway. His grandparents
Klaus Sr. and Glenda Defense and Gladys Callaway. Aunt Valerie Defense, Uncle Klaus Defense
Jr., Special Cousins Isaiah & Ian Defense, Sister Cailynn Boykin and Special Friend Tiara Booker, along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
