William Charles Rembert, Sr.

Life began for William in Birmingham, AL on, Wednesday August 13, 1947. His proud parents were Eurenza Rembert and Jessie Pearl Watkins Rembert. He was a life-long resident of Birmingham, AL. He entered into eternal rest, on Tuesday December 24, 2024 at Cherry Hill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Birmingham, AL.

He attended Hooper City Elementary and Hooper City High School from 1954 - 1966. After graduation he joined the United States Armed Services. He served in the United States Army from 1966 – 1968; and he fought in the Vietnam War. Once leaving the military he worked at DuPont Industries for 15 years; Atlas Paper Company until the company closed the Birmingham, AL location. William owned a business
through the franchise Jani-King of Birmingham, until his health started decline.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Eurenza (Jessie Pearl Watkins) Rembert; one brother James Rembert; one – sister Cynthia Brown.

He leaves behind: a loving and caring wife, Denise Bell Rembert; two sons - William C. (Tammy) Rembert, Jr. and Corey D. (Cherri) Rembert of Austin TX; one daughter – S. Danielle Bell McClain of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; two brothers – Robert (Janice) Rembert of Atlanta, GA; and Darryl Watkins of Las Vegas, NV; one sister – LaRhonda (Leonard) Jackson of Cleveland, OH. Two brothers-in-law – Arthur J.
(Cindy) Bell and Marty W. (Felicity) Bell; two sisters-in-law – Priscilla A. Bell Sloan and Charlcie B. Bell; a favorite cousin Dr. Alvin W. Rembert, DMD of Jackson, MS; many nieces and nephews.
