Mrs. Willene C. Jackson of Birmingham, entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2015. The youngest of six children born to Harrison and Adele Crosskey, she grew up in Birmingham, attended Birmingham City Schools and after college returned to teach in the Birmingham Public School System, retiring from A. H. Parker High School. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life: her daughter, Michele Rene, her son-in-law, Richard Dale Busby; her oldest and only surviving sibling, Drucilla C. Buskey, Mobile, Alabama; her nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Omega Omega Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10 o'clock at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 o'clock. Rev. John L. Cantelow, III, officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
