age 55, transitioned to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Victor was a loving son, devoted father, a cherished brother and friend. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late William C. Henley, Jr. and Callie S. Henley. He was retired from the U. S. Navy. He leaves to cherish his memories: his two sons, Victor Charles Henley, Jr. and William Samuel Henley; his mother, Callie S. Henley; his nine sisters, Cheryl (Charles) Miles, Barbara Kemp, Dorothy (Cecil) Gray, Mona (Errol) King, Elaine Henley, Jane (Yul) Crawford, Bonita (Jonathan) Mostilla, Pamela (Myford) Little, and Angela (P. Ronald) Wilder; one brother, Timothy; one grandchild, Victor III; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Victor was known for his style, humor and kind and giving heart. Visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. The service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Zion Star Missionary Baptist Church, 254 - 3rd Avenue SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
