Twoller
Reese
October 18, 2020
On the evening of Sunday, October 18, 2020, a beautiful and gracious life came to an end when God called his servant, Twoller Reese, home. Twoller was born on July 20, 1955, to Alfonzo Reese and Ella Clark in Birmingham, Alabama.
At an early age, Twoller gave her life to Christ and joined St. Joseph Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama, where she served as a faithful member. She later became a member of Living Stones Temple (LST), under the leadership of Reverend Dr. A. B. Sutton, Jr., where she
continued to nurture her spiritual growth, which enriched her daily walk with God. At LST, Twoller was a leader of a Small Group Bible Study, as well as an active member of the Greeters Ministry, Special Aides Ministry, Health Ministry, Mission Ministry, and Women's Conference Committee.
Twoller graduated from A. H. Parker High School in 1973, serving as a majorette her senior year. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she worked as a General Accountant for 25 years. She was a valued employee because of her expertise in accounting regulations, and happily shared her knowledge with others. Twoller also obtained her Associate degree from Jefferson State Community College in Physical Therapy Assistance and was licensed for 44 years. After retiring from UAB, Twoller worked
full-time as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
She was a clinical instructor to students, as well as a mentor to many of her fellow employees who saw and admired her work ethic and passion for the profession. She was gifted the nickname "drill sergeant" by many of her patients because of her high expectations for them.
Twoller was known to her family as Nita. She was always willing to give advice or lend a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time volunteering at the annual Debutante Ball as a member of the Imperial Club.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Ella Clark, daughter, Victoria Spencer, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins,
