Obituary

Terina Faye Samuels was born June 14, 1952, in Birmingham, Al, to the late Sam and Mary Samuels. She confessed Christ at an early age and became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City. She later became a member of First Baptist Church Fairfield.

She graduated from Western Olin High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in early childhood education from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She was a career Kindergarten teacher and Reading Coach until retiring from the Birmingham City School System.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, Hurdle Samuels, devoted sister and niece, Vanessa Samuels Blaylock and Cornessa (Coco) Samuels; sister-in-law: Doris Samuels(Van), niece Vanice Blackmon, nephew Lestryet Samuels, Aunt Minnie Daniels, great niece Mashayla Samuels, great nephews Damion and Devan Blackmon and many friends who will miss her dearly.
