Sedrick Woods, a devoted loving husband and father, was born to Samuel and Dorothy Woods on February 12, 1975. He born and raised in Birmingham, AL. This is where he would later meet the love of his life, Erika Madison-Woods. They wedded on June 5, 2004. A beautiful daughter, Reign Elise Woods, was produced through this union. Sedrick was known for his love of music, electronics, sneakers, caps, football, & making people smile. His charismatic attitude and joke telling made everyone he came across love him. He was a hard-working man with a heart of gold. He never hesitated to help anyone in need. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his loving and devoted wife, Erika Madison-Woods. His
young daughter, Reign Elise Woods. His parents, Samuel & Dorothy Woods. His brothers, Dana (Sharon) Hutchins, Samuel Woods Jr., & Darrin Woods His nieces, Kierra Hutchins, LaKeshia Mixon, Wesleigh Mullen, & Kristin Woods. His nephews, Dana Hutchins Jr., Samuel Woods III, & Curtis Woods. His father in-law Michael Mullen. His sister in-law, Whitney Mullen, and his brother in-law, Michael Mullen II. He also leaves an uncle and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Smith & Gaston Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Thursday May 27, 2021 at  Oakland Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
