Sarah Copeland Moore, born September 24, 1939, stepped into eternity on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. She was a Fairfield native where she spent her early life. A strong proponent of family and education, she began her formal education at Clark College in Atlanta but left to get married and start a family and finished her bachelor’s degree at Miles College. She and her husband, John, raised three children, and she continued her education, earning a master’s degree and a juris doctorate, excelling in life and her career. She was loved by many and will be missed. Graveside services in celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 6, at Elmwood Cemetery, 11:00 a.m.
