January 8, 1931 – March 11, 2025
Mrs. Sara Eleanor Outlin Taylor, a native of Birmingham, Alabama and resident of Selma, Alabama, was the second child of six children, all daughters to John and Lena Outlin.
She was a graduate of Rosedale High School in Birmingham, Alabama and received the Bachelor of Science Degree from Miles College. She was a valued longtime educator for the Dallas County School System, where she taught subjects including Home Economics (Family and Consumer Sciences), English, and Social Sciences. She was a lifetime member of many of her professional organizations.
She was united in marriage to Jesse J. Taylor. From this union, one child was born, Marsha Vanessa Taylor.
She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she participated in various auxiliaries. She initiated some activities for children and adults and assisted with the church newsletter. She was multitalented. She enjoyed hospitality and catering, a variety of music genres, sewing, reading, playing games on her smart phone, and long late-night telephone conversations with family and friends.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Mrs. Taylor left this life to join her Heavenly Father, earthly parents, sisters, and other relatives.
She leaves to cherish many precious memories: her daughter, Marsha Vanessa Taylor, Evergreen, Alabama; her sister, Beatrice Hill, Birmingham, Alabama; nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and a myriad of former students.
