age 72, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Visitation service will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 from 7:05 pm - 8:05 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel, 102-6th Avenue S.W. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 12 P.M. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 600 Center Street North, Birmingham, Alabama. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors include: daughter, Lia Scales Prince; two sons, Jerome C. Scales , III (LaKecia) and Marc D. Scales ; three grandchildren, Karena and Gabriel Prince, Skylar Scales ; one sister, Brenda Wills Otis (Amos); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
