Mr. Samuel Xerxes Pugh, age 73, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Titusville. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired coal miner. Cherishing his memories are: a loving and devoted wife, Linda Randall Pugh; three daughters, Angela Pugh, Sheree Randall and Kewaner Randall; two sons, Samuel O. Pugh (Andrea) and Joshua Randall; five sisters, Connie Chambers of Cleveland Heights, OH, Betty Juddine of Van Nuys, CA, Joan Barrett of Endicott;, NY, Sandra and Annette Pugh of Chicago, IL; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
