Rosemary King was born on September 17, 1963 to Catherine Adams and the late Charlie James Adams Sr in Birmingham, Alabama.

Rosemary accepted Christ and at an early age and was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She committed her life to praying and interceding for others daily. She was a member of Warriors International Fellowship Incorporated under the leadership of Pastor Derrick E. Houston Sr.

She graduated from P.D. Jackson Olin High School in 1983.

She married the love of her life Reverend Alvin C. King Jr in 1997. She faithfully served as First Lady of Greater Vine City Baptist Church. Their marriage was the blueprint of what Godly love looks like.

Rosemary loved her children and grandchildren. She was a supportive and devoted Mother and Nana. She lived life to the fullest through the simplest of things like spending time with her family & friends, playing games on her phone and watching cartoons.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Alvin C. King Jr, her father Charlie James Adams Sr and sister Dorothy Mary Adams.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished through the lives of her children: Raymon (Derika) Adams, Alvin C King III "Trey" and Lacreasha Adams. 11 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Raymon Jr "RJ", Jahmir, Kristian, Raelynn, Xavier, Raeleigh "Kenzie", Alvin IIII, Alora, Derrick, and Da'Nyla. Her mother Catherine Adams. Brothers Charlie (Marleen) Adams Jr.  Bruce (Electra) Adams. Sisters Shelia King, Victoria Adams-Kelly, Cynthia Adams, Carolyn (Robert) Hawkins. A host of devoted nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
