Rosalind Wilma Hackworth - Simmons was born November 29, 1947 to the late Ross William Hackworth and Clara Mae Warren in Birmingham, Alabama. Rosalind graduated from A.H. Parker Highschool and received her Bachelors from Faulkner University. She also retired from Bellsouth Telecommunications. She leaves to cherish her memories; daughters Tara Jefferson and Tajuana Jefferson of Atlanta Georgia; three sisters Gloria Hackworth- Readus (Calvin) of Birmingham, Al, Lucille Warren of Birmingham, Al, Claretha Hackworth Minor of Atlanta, Georgia, 1 brother Ross William Hackworth Jr( Deborah Birmingham, Alabama. Five grand children; Christopher, Tiffany, Erick, Corey and Shannon and six great grand children. Memorial service for Ms. Rosalind Wilma Hackworth- Simmons will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 11:00 at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Due to Covid-19 restriction the family is requesting only immediate family at the service.
