Rodney Lynn Pruitt was born October 29,
1959, to Juanita and Willie Lee Pruitt, both of Birmingham,
Alabama. He was a member of Parkshill Church under the
leadership of Reverend Benny Clyde.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Pruitt, his
grandmother, Elmira Kirkland, and his great-grandmother,
Betty Vaughn.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving son, Kenneth
Pruitt; three sisters, DePresse Freeman, Wendy Mallory,
and Jeannine Swanson, all of Birmingham, Alabama; two
brothers, Everett (Bonita) Nolan and Randall C. Pruitt, both
of Birmingham, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, greatnieces,
and great-nephews; and one special friend, Christine
Thomason.
