Mr. Rhoul E Hanson, Rhoul was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 26, 1948 to Walter and Clara Hanson, the seventh of nine children. Having received Christ at an early age, he was baptized at Lily Grove Baptist Church. Rhoul graduated from A. H. Parker High School in 1965, going on to attend Morristown Junior College and Hampton University where he was recruited by Akron Goodyear Tire and Rubber, starting as a lab technician in 1969.
He leaves to mourn: his loving wife, Carrie; their sons, Rhoul Anthony and Kalen Rasheed; his sisters and brother, Willie Mae Edwards (the late Clarence Edwards), Glenda Woods and Anthony (Denise) Hanson; one very much loved grandson, Amier Treshon Hanson; a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Sardis Baptist Church, 1615 - 4th Court West, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
