 -The Obituary -

Mrs. Patricia “Pat/Trish” Clemons Pardon Warren was born on December 7, 1956, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Nathaniel Clemons and Mary Matthews. Patricia was the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Nathaniel Clemons Jr., Otis Clemons Sr., and Ronnie Clemons.

At an early age, Patricia confessed Christ and was baptized, beginning a lifelong journey of faith and service. She joined Ninevah Baptist Church and later became a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Zion City. She faithfully served as a member of the choir and as former president of the Missionary Society. Her commitment to her church reflected the faith, love, and dedication that were such meaningful parts of her life.

Patricia attended New Castle High School and graduated from Woodlawn High School with the Class of 1975. She continued her education at Faulkner University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

Patricia found joy in the simple but meaningful things in life. Most of all, she loved baking cakes and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm spirit, kindness, sweetness, and the love she freely shared with those around her. Her presence made people feel welcomed and cared for, and the memories she created will continue to be cherished.

She leaves to mourn her devoted and loving former husband and best friend, TaDarryl Pardon; her only daughter, Lasheka Pardon Barnes;  granddaughter, Jasmin Henderson (Curtis) Goldsmith; grandson, Jalin (Kamiyah) Henderson; great-grandson, Carsten Goldsmith; goddaughter, De’Ja Johnson; sister, Dorothy (Doug) Large; stepsister, Brenda Jenkins; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Brown, LaFair McCord, Nadine (Lloyd) Frieson, Amanda (Bernard) Spencer, Emmetta Jean Pardon, Barbara (John) King, Keisha Pardon, and Mittie Clemons. She also leaves her beloved nieces, Pamela McGruder and Kendra Jennings, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, church family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
