Nettie Pearl Price was born on April 25, 1941 to the late Rev. James Price and Octavia Grey Price. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age and was a member of Moody Temple C.M.E. Church in Fairfield, Alabama.

Nettie attended the Fairfield School System from the 1st through 12th grades. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Elementary Education from Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama.

Nettie departed this life and entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ronnie and Derrick Price; and sister Natalie Price. She leaves to cherish her memory: brothers Barry Price and Winfred (Toni) Price; five nephews: Barry James, Derrick Jr. (Tonia), Ronnie (Kiara), Bryant and Courtney Price; three nieces, Angela, Kandyce, and Ashley Price; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other family members, church members, and friends.
