Nancy B. (Hobson) Handley was born on December 29, 1936, to Lee Hobson and Nettie (Jorney) Hobson in Jefferson County, Alabama. Nancy accepted Christ at an early age. Nancy was a dedicated and faithful member of St. John Baptist Church.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, Nancy transitioned from this earthly life to live in God's heavenly home.

Preceding Nancy in death were her husband, Rueben Handley; her parents, Lee Hobson and Nettie Hobson; her brothers, Luvert and LaRue Hobson and Andrew Hobson; and one stepsister, Ola B. Burks.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and dedicated sisters, Bettie Thomas and Nettie M. Hall of Chicago; two nieces, Lanette Hall and Karen Richards; great-nephew, Caylon L. Hall-Ratter; great-niece, Ashley J. Hall-Relf; a special daughter and friend, Genea; a special cousin and sister. Yvonne; and a host of loving family and friends.
