Mary Louise
Raspberry
December 19, 1941 – May 13, 2022
Mary Louise Raspberry was born to the late Vera Mae Brady on December 19, 1941. She departed this earthly life on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Mary received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend D. B. Edwards at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fairfield, Alabama. She later married Julius Raspberry who preceded her in death. Mary was a loving and devoted mother to three daughters who loved her dearly, Rosalind Lewis, Deborah Raspberry, and Gloria Raspberry. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Mary's life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. She was an excellent mom, supportive, kind, loving, and filled with wisdom. We will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Mae Brady, her stepfather, Milton Frank Brady Sr., and her two brothers Milton Jr. and David Brady Sr. She is survived by her three daughters, two sisters, Linda Clayton, and Sandra (George III) Jones. A loving cousin, Ronald (Joyce) Johnson, a devoted son-in-law, William Lewis, five loving grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23 KJV
