Margaret was educated in the Birmingham Public School System. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Houston. She taught in Houston, Texas and Hoover, Alabama for nineteen years. Over the years of teaching, Margaret touched the lives of many youth. Viewing will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
