Mrs. Mamie Ruth Pearson Weeks' Obituary
Mrs. Mamie Pearson Weeks,age 93, passed away on June 29, 2014. She was a proud graduate of Miles College and retired from the Jefferson County Family Court after thirty years of employment. She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Woodard (Robert), Janice Colvin (Andrew) and Whitlynn Battle; one son, LeVente Weeks; brother, retired Judge J. Richmond Pearson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family Hour will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Elmwood Cemetery. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
