Lestra Janee` Browning was born July 10, 1976, to Jerry T. Browning and Vicki R. Browning in Birmingham, Alabama. She was educated in the
Jefferson County School system and earned her high school diploma from Minor High School.

Lestra was a proud member of the Order of the Easten Star, House of Electa, Chapter 895, contributing to the organization's values of charity
and community service.

Affectionately known as 'Les', she lit up with joy whenever there was an opportunity for family and social gatherings. Her laughs, playful and
infectious energy are the most memorable characteristics of those she encountered. Her long- term illness did not shadow her optimism for life.

Lestra was preceded in death by her father, Jerry T. Browning; brother, Jarrod D. Browning; grandfather, Carthele Browning; grandmother,
Ida M. Stevenson; and grandfather, Robert L. Stevenson, Sr.

Lestra leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Victoria Browning; mother, Vicki R. Browning; special friends, Cindy and James Murphey, and
Gweneta Naves; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
