Obituary

Lannie Belle Webb was born on September 29, 1937 to Willie Webb and Lucy Crockelle Webb in Fayette County, Alabama. Her parents passed away at an early age leaving the care of her and her siblings to the beloved Aunt Channey Gandy of Eutaw, Alabama. Lannie attended Alabama public schools. She began her work career as a nanny, which would explain her fond love for children. She confessed Christ at an early age at the Collegeville Church of Christ under the leadership of Bro. Dale. She remained faithful in serving the Lord. She later became employed at the University of Alabama in Birmingham as a Lab Technician for over Thirty years until she retired. "Bea" never learned to drive, but she was known as a walking map and telephone book.
On November 12, 1956 she married the love of her life, Mr. Emanuel Mabry. To their union no biological children were born; however they became co-parents to Tarina and Jonathan Mabry. As well as being instrumental in raising and nurturing a vast majority of their nieces and nephews both near and far. They both supported the meaning of family growth and stability. Their legacy will be remembered by their strong faith in God, mature leadership, caring manner and humbleness towards others.
