LaDale P. Boswell, known as "Byrd", a native of Hueytown, AL, was born on October 29, 1976. He was the son of Eddie J. and the late Luberta Boswell. LaDale was educated in the Jefferson County School System and was a graduate of Hueytown High School Class of 1996. He was a member of New Life Interfaith Ministries, Inc.

He was united in holy matrimony to Tameka W. Boswell, in 2009. LaDale was blessed with four beautiful children; LaDarian, Nathaniel, Kamryn, and Kennedy.

LaDale was a passionate man who enjoyed spending time with family, grilling, traveling, and sports. He was an AVID Alabama Crimson Tide fan! In his spare time, LaDale took pleasure in providing "Shade Tree Mechanics" and electrical services.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Luberta Boswell; and sister, Brenda Woods.

He will be fondly remembered as a doting father, loving husband, and a true friend. All who knew him, loved his lively, high spirit. His loving memories will forever be engraved in the hearts of: his wife, Tameka; sons, LaDarian and Nathaniel; daughters, Kamryn and Kennedy all of Birmingham, Alabama; sisters Cora Mae Sanders, Annette Clark (John), Claudine Boswell, Eddie Mae Boswell, Natasha Burton, and Jerica Boswell (Haushan); brothers, Fred Woods, Elder Leroy Boswell (Patricia), Jermaine Boswell (LaShaundra), and Joshua Sanders. He was blessed with twin grandbabies in which he never had the pleasure of meeting; LaDarian and Paris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
