age 39, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on March 4, 2016. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School and received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Alabama State University. Kimberly was a teacher and librarian during her fifteen-year tenure with the Birmingham City School System. Kimberly, affectionately known to her family as "Cocoa", loved her family, teaching and children. She is survived by her husband, Jason Coleman; her parents, Donny and Patricia Hamilton; her two brothers, Jeremy Daniel and Donny (Latifa) Hamilton, Jr.; her two sisters, Stacie Hamilton and Christie (Corey) Rogers; her nephew, Dominic Hamilton; her step-son, Jaizon Coleman; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. The Family Hour will be held Friday, March 11, 2016 from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2135 Jefferson Avenue S.W., Birmingham, AL 35211. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
