Keenan Orl Phillips was born on August 23, 1990, to Violet Orl Phillips and Kelvin L. Phillips in Birmingham, Alabama.On March 8, 2024, Keenan exchanged time with eternity. Keenan was a loveable child who grew into a strong, quiet man. He graduated from Shades Valley High School and went on to attend Shelton State in Tuscaloosa.

Keenan dedicated his life to Christ at an early age. He was baptized at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church by the late Reverend Chappell. Keenan was employed with Mercedes Benz International as a Lead for over 10 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, the love of his life, his daughter, Kena Renee Phillips of McCalla, AL. Keenan is also survived by his mother, Violet Phillips of McCalla, AL; father, Kelvin (Onitris) Phillips of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Kelvin (Shica) Phillips of Polland; one sister, Jillian
Phillips of San Antonio, TX; grandmother, Glenda Barber of Lima, OH; aunt, Shari (Joseph) Sanders of Helena, AL; one uncle, Gregory Phillips of San Antonio, TX; one extra special aunt, Tinita Reed of Trussville, AL; best friend, Cameron Clark of Birmingham, AL; two special cousins, Andre Williams and Darius of Birmingham, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and classmates.
