A Time to Be Born
Karen Angela Hooper was born November 3, 1964 to the beloved parentage of Annie Ruth Paige Hooper and the late Andre J. Hooper, she was educated at G.W. Carver High School, Class of 1982. The later at Herzing Institute, Class of 1989.

A Time to Plant
Upon receiving Christ at an early age. Karen was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. At an early age Karen was blessed with piano skills. She demonstrated her love for playing the piano as a Pianist for several churches in the Birmingham Area. She willingly used her gift from God to share the joy of music with others. Karen served at the United State Postal Services from April 1991 and retire in August of 2005.

A Time for Peace
On Sunday, December 18, 2022, Karen was called upon by our Lord to come home and enter into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: mother, Annie Ruth Hooper; and a host of other relatives, friends, and her Oak Street Baptist Church Family.
