Obituary

Johnny Willie Williams Jr., of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on the 5th of February, 2024. Born on the 17 July, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan, he was a man whose smile brought everyone warmth, with his jovial spirit to all around him. Johnny will be remembered as a kind, humble, and lovable individual, his presence alone was a gift to those fortunate enough to have known him. Johnny gave his life to Christ at an early age, while attending Union Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan.

An alumnus of Miles College, Johnny possessed a desire for knowledge that can be compared to his passion for his favorite sports teams—the Detroit Lions and the Michigan Wolverines. Notable for his calm demeanor, you would also be invigorated by his immense enthusiastic and competitive nature while playing a good game of Spades or Bidwhist. His mother Scottie revered him as Solomon/Joseph because of his charisma, peacemaking, and forgiving heart.

The most important thing in a man's life is confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life.

"that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You can choose to serve a God that gives you free will and if you don't know what to do or say he has given us the Holy Ghost to lead and guide you.

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Johnny suffered in silence with many illnesses but he is at home with the Lord. He was truly loved and he showed love with his quiet and gentle spirit.

Johnny (Jon Jon) leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories amongst his family: his loving son, Johnny Williams III; his doting step-daughter Alexandria Bryant, his devoted parents, Scottie Williams-Glass and Johnny Williams Sr., his steadfast brother & sister-in-law, Jamaine & Cheryllonna Williams; his adoring niece and nephew, Monjahla and Jamaine Williams II and his special friend Erica Davis and her family.
