He leaves to cherish four sister in laws and three brother in laws, Johnnie Hughes, Jr. (Brenda), Quintella Morgan (Jerry), Queen H. Mullins, and Rosie Kelly (Kinnis).
At an early age John David Gee ( David) expressed his belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This love and dedication to the Lord guided him for the rest of his life and later became a faithful member of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John Porter.
David married the love of his life Arkadella Gee on August 20, 1994 and maintained this union until his passing 29 years later. In this holy matrimony one child was born; son, Christopher Dijion and one grandchild Ariyah. He was also the proud father of four beautiful children, sons, Derick Gee, John D. Gee(Sharella); daughters, Monique Gee and JaQuise Perry (Marcus); and eleven grandchildren, Mahalie, Ariyah, Nadyia, Ava, Devin, Benjamin, Jadya, Zac, Billie, Nyjah, NeJon, Klya.
David was a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend. He enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and was always so excited to know his kids would be coming to visit. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
We celebrate a life very well spent and blessed by God and we thank God for placing David in our lives.
