Ira Thomas Lucas, Jr. departed this life on Friday, September 10,2020 in Birmingham, Al. He was preceded in death by his parents Ira, Sr. and Cleo Patra Lucas, and Sister Gwendolyn Lucas Dugger. Ira is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 61 years, Creola Gaston Lucas, and one son Ira, III, daughter Ingrid Deane Lucas and One Granddaughter Selena Ineze Lucas. His memories will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, numerous relatives, and very special friends. Celebration of life will be held outside on Saturday October 17th at 11:00 A.M. at Smith & Gaston Funeral Home. Due to Covid- 19 Social distancing and Face masks are required.
