On the night of April 13th 2016, Inger Black Conwell passed away at her home with her husband Rod. Inger was born in the city of Birmingham in Jefferson County, AL on December 31, 1965.
Inger started her younger years at Council Elementary school. She went on to attend Jackson Olin High school where she was Captain of the cheerleading squad, Homecoming Queen, a member of the track team. She completed graduation in 1983. She continued her education by doing two years at Jacksonville State and Booker T. Washington where she completed her associate's degree. But she was determined to finish what she started, so she went back to school and completed her Bachelor's degree in business from Faulkner University in 2013.
Inger was a hard-working and devoted employee at State Farm Insurance for over 20 years. She was baptized at First Baptist Ensley on August 12, 1974. She was also a member of, and a servant in several ministries at the Guiding Light church for over 10 years.
Inger was a bright and shining star to so many people. Her genuine spirit and beautiful smile warmed the hearts of EVERYONE she was connected to.

Tony Black (Rosalind); one sister, Rosalynn (Henry); step-father James Odom; step-sister, Chantrice (Christopher) all of Birmingham, Alabama; one aunt, Celeste Felious (Joshua) of Charlotte, North Caroline; one great aunt, Carrie Jordan; three uncles, Otis Black, Washington, DC.; Anthony Black (Barbara) of White Plains, Maryland; Lonnie Black (Pamela) of Chicago, Illinois; mother-in-law, Catherine Conwell; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Conwell, Tiajuana Rembert; one brother-in-law, Charles Conwell (Linda); and a host of nieces, one-great-niece, nephews, cousins and others relatives and friends.
