She was the youngest of fourteen siblings. She married Paul Davis.

She is survived by one sister, Retricia Goldsmith of Cleveland, Ohio;
her beloved God Children and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She worked at Forniss Printing Company and with Banks Security for many, many years. She was very active in the city of Birmingham as a community activist and volunteer. She supported the political campaigns of many individuals, worked the voting polls, and fought for the civil rights of voters.
