GUY DARNELL VANSANT passed away peacefully on August
26, 2022. He was born on January 4, 1992, in Birmingham,
Alabama, to Eddie and Angela Vansant. He graduated from
Gardendale High School in 2011, where he played football as
a nose tackle. He was employed with Birmingham Coca-Cola
Bottling Company and Mercedes Benz US International Inc.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eddie Vansant,
Sr., and Wilber Grenshaw, Jr.

His memory will be cherished by his loving parents, Eddie
"Ricky" and Angela Vansant; two beautiful children, Cassidy
Amarah and Isaiah Jehlani Darnell; loving sister, Jasmine
Vansant; grandmothers, Johnnie Mae Crenshaw and Sarah
Vansant; aunts, Yvette (Reginald) Wilson, Michelle (Toney)
Gray, Revanette "Dimples" (Joe) Breeding and Sherri Stevenson;
uncles, Willie "Wayne" (Kim) Williams and Shawn Williams;
great aunts, Kathy (Mark) Bonner, Cynthia Brown, Alsenia
Gray and Brenda (Thomas) Kelly; godmother, Cynthia Willis
Smith; and a host of cousins and many friends.
