Frank Andrew
Coleman
July 28, 1957 – August 13, 2022
Frank Andrew Coleman, a.k.a. "Tony," was born on July 28, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama. He passed away on August 13, 2022, in Birmingham at the early age of sixty-five. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" Coleman (1995) and Nancy Coleman (1972), sister, Jean Baker (2000), brother, Lewis Coleman (2022), brother, William "Billy" Coleman (2011), brother, Stanford Coleman (1977) and brother, David Coleman (2003).
He is survived by his sisters, Lillian Tillman and Laura Roberts of California, brother, Jerry Coleman of Tennessee, and many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Growing up in Fairfield, Alabama, Tony was the youngest of nine in the Coleman family and became the charm of the family. When his mother passed away, he spent equal time with family members between Alabama and California where he learned to fully enjoy life. Being the charm of the family and with a head full of curly hair, he became known as "Pretty Tony." He was well known throughout Fairfield. Tony used his talents and was helpful to people completing small home improvement tasks. Having a slender stature and a love for walking, it was not uncommon to see him "getting his steps in" around the community and thus he didn't need to drive. It took a long time, but eventually he learned to drive.
Tony was very family orientated and always kept up to date with all his family members. It was not uncommon for him to call and check on people. Thus, he became the family "secretary." Tony was loved by many and will truly be missed.
