Mrs. Flora Jean Hart peacefully transitioned from this life on February 17, 2026, at the blessed age of 89. Her life was one marked by faith, service, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.

At an early age, Flora Jean confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and became a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Thomas. Her love for the Lord remained the foundation of her life, guiding her words, her actions, and her gentle spirit.

She was a proud graduate of A.H. Parker High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and laid the groundwork for a life of purpose. Flora Jean went on to dedicate many years of compassionate service as a nurse at Carraway Hospital. She cared for countless patients with tenderness and professionalism, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues and families alike.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Lewis Hart.

Flora Jean leaves to cherish her precious memories with her loyal and devoted son, Roderick Hart, whose love and dedication brought her great pride and joy; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends who will forever treasure her warm smile, kind heart, and quiet strength.

Her legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
