Fannie Mae Braxton was born on May 8, 1919, to the late Freddie Robinson and Sally Sharper in Demopolis, Alabama. She confessed Christ at an early age.
Fannie was the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. She equipped herself with the spiritual, mental, and physical fitness for her God-given task. She spoke with skillful and godly wisdom, and faithful instruction was on her tongue. She watched over the affairs of her household and did not eat the bread of idleness. Many daughters have done noble things, but Fannie surpasses them all.
Heavenly bound…Fannie fought the good fight of faith, and on Thursday, July 16, 2020, she answered the Master's call surrounded by her loving family.
Fannie Mae Braxton leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted sister, Margaret Black; six daughters: Ethel Hill, Irene Harkins, Joyce Braxton, Deborah Braxton, Deserine Graze, and Gloria Edwards; comprising a legacy of five generations (234) 15 children; 43 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; 65 great-great grandchildren; and 38 great-great-great grandchildren.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Robinson and Sally Sharper; her husband, George Braxton; her sons: George Braxton, Jr., Robert Braxton and Willie Braxton; and her daughters: Louise Foster, Mary Louise Williams, and Augusta Weston. Now, they all are together again.
