Ms. Evelyn Stephens of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her sister, Helen Dillard, Rockville, MD. Public viewing will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel. Family Hour from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 at 12 o'clock noon at Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church, Fairfield with interment in Elmwood Cemetery.
