Mr. Ellis Patterson, Jr., was born October 20, 1938 in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Ellis Patterson, Sr. and Mattie Lou Patterson. He departed this life on Sunday, January 4, 2015. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel, 102 - 6th Avenue S.W., Birmingham, Alabama 35211. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sister, Carolyn Patterson Stokes; his nephew, Michael Patterson (Barvette); three nieces, Vicky Sealey (Renaldo), Valerie Finnell and Kimberly Simmons (Steve) ; two aunts, Drucilla Buskey and Willene C. Jackson; three grand nephews; two grand nieces; a host of cousins and friends. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
