Tyrone (Ty) was born to Edmond Tyrone Griffith Sr. and Ida Griffith in Killen, TX.

Ty became a happy active child surrounded by so much love.

He was educated in the Birmingham City School system.  Ty played the drums in elementary school and tried football for a while in high school.

As an adult he had many goals and if one didn't work out, he never gave up saying, "God was always on this side."  He attended Virginia College graduating with an associate degree in HAVAC Repair.

He tried something new and became a mechanic assistant for C&J Auto Enterprise, LLC taking much pride in his work.

He was in his community and served as an Environmental Investigator and worked the polls for city, state, and federal elections.

Ty was proceeded in death by his Pop Tyrone Sr.  Memories will be shared by his children Edmond "Tyger" Griffith, III, Darnell Blankenship, Deatrice Blankenship, mother Ida, sister Jennifer (Marvin) Cunningham, family, friends, and his MZC church family.

We celebrate his life and let's live as he did with love always in his heart.
