Mrs. Edith Carter Law, age 83, departed this life September 24, 2014. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 29, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Rising Star Baptist Church, 1320 - 2nd Avenue West, Birmingham, Alabama 35208 with interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors include: daughter, Juanita (William) Black; son, Carter L. Law; sister, Katie R. Hewston. Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
