Mrs. Eddie Lee Harris, age 96, was born on July 06, 1927 in Elmore, AL. to the late Mattie Baldwin. She joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City at a young age. She was the eldest member at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City. Mrs. Harris joined Saint John over 80 decades ago, under Rev. K. L. Adams. She was an active member of the following ministries: #2 Usher - Senior Mission - M. V. Spearman Sunday School Bible Class - Culinary Committee.

Mrs. Eddie Lee Harris was called from Labor to Reward on January 03, 2024. She was welcomed into God arms and by those we went before her. Her husband, Willie A. Harris, Sr.; two sons, Willie A. Harris, Jr., and Alfonso Harris; one sister, Madeleine Baldwin; two brothers, Benjamin Baldwin and Fernwood Baldwin; one granddaughter, Karen W. Larkins; one special aunt, Leola Walker; two special cousins, Jessie Mae Jackson and Ethel Mae Darrington.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Leola Anderson, Millbrook, AL. and Everlina (Lovell) Samuels, Henderson, Nev.; two sons, James (Marva) Harris, Suwanee, GA. and Benjamin Harris, Cambridge, MASS.; two daughter in laws, Debra Harris and Carol Harris; twenty one grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, forty seven great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and neighbors.
