Mrs. Dorothy W. Jeffries passed on March 2, 2018. She was born December 26, 1939 to Ms. Fannie Mae Williams of Birmingham, AL. She was a product of the Birmingham Public School System and shhe received her undergraduate degree from Tuskegee Institude in Tuskeegee, Alabama. She also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was an educator in the Birmingham Public School System.

She was a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Jeffries leaves to mourn her loving husband of 47 years Mr. John E. Jeffries, and a beloved god-daughter, Folashade Ayanwale of Chicago, Illinois

Funeral services will be held Friday March 9, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. A private Family Hour will be held Thursday March 8 from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Presbyterian Women Evening Circle.
