Deloise Renay Maxwell entered this life on November 11, 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama.  She was the middle child born to Rosa Bernice and William James Maxwell. She graduated from A.H. Parker High School class of 1980 and continued her education. She ultimately received her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Strayer University. She taught elementary aged children for over 35 years most recently working as a Pre- K Teacher for Clayton County Public Schools in Clayton County, Georgia. She was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and The Order of Eastern Star. Deloise was full of life, loving, and could light up a room with her presence. She loved her family, friends and never met a stranger.

Memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel.

She was called home on December 26,2019. She leaves to cherish her memory two beautiful daughters: Rachel Fluker and Jessica Fluker, four grandchildren: Caden J.M. Hall, Caimorra R.R. Fluker, Jaysen W. Fluker, and Jayda R. Heath.
