Christopher was born September 8, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of Ronald Earl and Joyce Lamb. He attended Birmingham City schools and graduated from A. H. Parker High School in 1995. He also attended U.A.B. and Jefferson State in Music and Culinary Arts. Christopher accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized as a member of Lily Grove Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama. Chris began his life long journey in church music ministry at the age of eleven.
After sampling many different occupations, he found his real joy as an Office Installations Contractor for Wilkerson Installations, Inc., based at Alabama Power Corporate Headquarters.
Chris never met a stranger. He was known for his kindness and generosity. He positively touched and influenced the lives of all whom he came in contact with. He was committed to his family, church and job.
Christopher leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Mary; three children, Christopher, II, Christina Marya and Aaron (A.J.); a devoted mother, Joyce Lamb-Bevelle; father, Ronald (Gail) Lamb; step-father, Franklin Bevelle; three brothers, Tony Bevelle, Ronald (Vanessa) Lamb, Jr. and Rondrikus Lamb; a loving grandmother, Gladys Reynolds; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends.
