“Duke”

Charles Scott Jr., affectionately known as “Duke,” was born on November 7, 1966, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Charles Scott Sr. and Alice Marie Scott.

Duke was educated in the Birmingham City School System and was formerly employed with the City of Birmingham.

He enjoyed playing the drums and spending time with his family and friends. Duke will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him and the many special moments shared with family and friends.

In April 1980, Duke was baptized at Collegeville Church of Christ, marking an important milestone in his spiritual journey.

Duke leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Alice Marie Scott; his siblings, Alicia Scott, Chandra Scott, Reginald Quarles, and Marquette Quarles (Janice); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although Duke is no longer with us, the memories shared and the love he brought into the lives of others will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
