Mr. Cedric T. Vickers, Sr. was born September 6, 1954, in Anniston, Alabama, the son of Lovell Vickers and the late Sadie Hughes Vickers. He transitioned from Earth to Heaven on Monday, August 10, 2015. Cedric believed in hard work and providing for his family; during his career, he was employed by United Parcel Service (UPS) for 41 years. He leaves to honor his memory: a loving and devoted wife of 15 years, Dr. Cheryl Cephus-Vickers; his son, Cedric T. Vickers, Jr; granddaughters, Mia and Nataleigh; father, Lovell Vickers; sister, Candance (Walter, Sr.) Samuel; sister-in-law, Felicia C. Turnley; nieces, Bethany, Alexandria and Ariel; nephew, Walter, Jr.; along with many other caring relatives, church family and friends. Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John A.M.E. Church (708 - 15th Street North). Smith & Gaston Southside directing.
