Miss Catherine (Sister) Hollins was born March 18, 1929, to the late Dorris and Katherine Hollins of Birmingham, Alabama.

Catherine was educated in the Birmingham, Alabama, school system where she attended A.H. Parker School and Booker T. Washington Business School.

Catherine worked for Temple Pharmacy and the Alabama Power Company where she ultimately retired.

Catherine was called by the Lord on February 19, 2023. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Faye J. Shy and Betty J. Murray, both of Birmingham, Alabama; three nieces, Debra Smith, Jennifer Smith, and Wanda Lucas (Herman), all of Birmingham, Alabama; great-niece, Kariana Fleming of Birmingham, Alabama; first cousins, Claudia Underwood of Chicago, Illinois, and Gwendolyn Reid (Richard) of Birmingham, Alabama;
cousin, Carol Smitherman (Roger) of Birmingham, Alabama; and close cousin, Maurice Robinson (Priscilla) of Chicago, Illinois. We also would like to recognize special friends of the family, namely Velma Mitchell, Alfonso McClaney, John Owens, Donnie Amison, Isabell Amison, Karen Owens, and Jerell Barbee (Christine), as well as a host of other close relatives and friends.
