On Thursday morning, June 22, 2023, Carrie Lee was called home by her heavenly father. Born to the late James and Tennie Palmer of
Sumter County, she was educated in the Birmingham City School System. After graduating from A. H. Parker High School, she married
Theodore R. Hamilton, Sr. To this union three children were born, Theodore, Angela, and Victoria.

Carrie Lee was gifted in all areas of homemaking. Sewing, gardening, and cooking were her favorite hobbies. Carrie loved planting and growing flowers; it reminded her of new life. She worked in various jobs during her lifetime, including 28 years of employment
by AC Legg Packing Company. Carrie joined Rising Star Baptist Church and remained faithful until her health declined. Carrie will
be remembered for her quick-witted humor and her love for God.

Carrie leaves to cherish her memory: son, Theodore R. (Cheryl) Hamilton, Jr., of Birmingham, Alabama; daughters, Angela (Charles Sr.) Elliott of Decatur, Alabama, and Victoria Hamilton of Fairfield, AL.; three grandchildren, Jaunelle (the late Marcus) White of Lanette, Alabama, Victoria Elliott, and Charles (LaTosha) Elliott, Jr., of Decatur, Alabama; five great-grandchildren, MaKiah, Jaylyn, Layla, Chazz, and Marcus II; three nieces, Sherrell Dean Hamilton Watkins, Evelyn Jean Whatley, and Tennie Delores West; one nephew, William A. Hamilton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
