The late Mrs. Carrie Lois Joiner Clark was born August 16, 1933, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie and Sarah Joiner in Buford, GA.
Mrs. Carrie Lois Joiner Clark was a believer and knew that she could trust God with her all and all, including her life unto death.
She was educated in the Birmingham City School system and employed with Children's Hospital as supervisor in Central Supply for 39 years. She was an avid seamstress and baker.
Mrs. Carrie Lois Joiner Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jessie and Sarah Joiner; Three sons, William Wayne, Michael, and Marlon; 3 brothers: William, James Edward, Nathaniel and Harold.
Mrs. Carrie Lois Joiner Clark met and married Mr. Robert Clark, Sr. on January 5, 1953, they were united in Holy matrimony. Their marriage of 65 years produced a great lineage. To this union eight children were born.
The surviving children include: Two daughters: Sheila Clark; Vickie Clark (Michael) Bryant; Three sons: Robert (Mamie) Clark, Eric (Carol) Clark, all of Birmingham, Alabama, and Byron (Yolanda) Clark, of Atlanta, GA.; One sister, Mrs. Mary E. Seals; One brother; Mr. David Joiner, both of Birmingham, Alabama; Six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving neighbors and friends.
